In the game, one will encounter a large number of different items. These fit in the following categories:

Equipment are all the items that can be equipped on a character.
[edit] Crafting materials
Crafting materials are the result of scrapping items. There are four five types of materials, four of which have a common and uncommon variant.
There are also blueprints, which use crafting material to create equipment

These are the items that can be used to regain power or health, remove a harmfull effect or give a temporary boost. More on the Consumables page

Various items need to use, collect or turn in to complete a quest.
